The passengers on the train are divided into two classes: the wealthy upper class and the poor lower class. The lower-class passengers are treated like animals and live in terrible conditions. One day, they decide to revolt against the upper-class passengers and take control of the train.

Sang-Hyun(Song Kang-ho) is a priest who is turned into a vampire after he is infected with a virus. As he starts to crave human blood, he realizes that he must fight his thirst for blood or risk becoming a monster.

Thirst Korean version of the movie is titled Bak-jwi. Bakjwi means bat in Korean.

In 2009, it entered the competition section of the 62nd Cannes Film Festival and won the Jury Prize. Rotten Tomatoes commented on this film, "The stylish Thirst packs plenty of bloody thrills to satisfy fans of both vampire films and director Chan Wook Park."

The Host's Korean movie title is "Gwoemul". Gwoemul means a monster or weird creature in Korean. 

The Host is an action-packed thriller that will make you nervous and a black comedy thriller with family love and the absurdity of society.
